Ben Williams
Founder & Registered Patent Attorney
Ben Williams, a Colorado intellectual property attorney, founded Williams Intellectual Property in Denver, Colorado in 2012 — and since then, he and his team have written hundreds of patents for inventors and corporations across the U.S. and abroad. After putting himself through law school following the birth of his daughter, Ben passed the California Bar on his first attempt in 2022.
That combination — a hard-science background, technical writing ability, and a decade spent drafting claims and fighting examiners — is what Ben brings to every matter. He’s admitted to practice before the USPTO, the State Bar of California, and multiple federal courts, including the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC), the nation’s exclusive patent appeals court.
